ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – A local woman is spearheading a community group she’s calling ‘The Ithaca Mask Makers’.
Ithaca.com reports the initiative was started by 30 year-old Adrienne Huffman. She’s also a soon to be graduate of Ithaca College. Huffman posted an add online soliciting interest from people who would want to help sew face masks, in the event there should be a shortage during the COVID-19 crisis.
About 20 people have responded. The masks take about 20 minutes to make.
