CINCINNATUS, NY (607NewsNow) – The Cincinnatus Central School District has appointed a temporary leader.
On March 13, Dr. Peter Smith was named interim principal of the secondary school.
Smith comes to Cincinnatus having recently retired from a 28-year career in the Jamesville-Dewitt Central School District, most recently serving as superintendent.
Dr. Smith calls Cincinnatus a unique and tight-knit community, noting that the secondary school serves students from kindergarten through grade 12 in the same building.
Smith will serve through June 2026.
