Coffee sold at Dollar General recalled for potential glass contamination

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – Coffee sold nationwide at Dollar General is being recalled.

According to the FDA, several lots of 8 oz. Clover Valley Instant Coffee could potentially contain glass in the coffee grounds.

The recall was issued on Monday after a customer notified employees. The product was distributed between July 9 and July 21 in every state but Alaska and Hawaii.

No injuries have been reported to date, and Dollar General is “actively investigating” the source of the contamination.

Customers should discard the product and contact Dollar General at (888) 309-9030 for a full refund.
