NEWFIELD, NY (607NewsNow) — Newfield currently doesn’t have a farmers’ market, but that might change. The town is looking for opinions from the public.

“What would you like to see in a Newfield farmers market? What would make you want to participate? Are you a farmer, gardener, baker, maker, musician, organization, or local business interested in being involved?”

Newfield’s Climate Smart Communities Task Force “is exploring the idea of bringing a community farmers market back to Newfield, and we want your input before taking the next steps,” officials said.

In addition, a public discussion has been scheduled for Oct. 29 at Newfield Town Hall. It’ll start at 6:30 p.m.
