DRYDEN, NY (607NewsNow) – Part of a popular trail in Tompkins County has reopened.

On November 20, the Finger Lakes Land Trust (FLLT) announced that improvements to the boardwalk and trail at the Roy H. Park Preserve in Dryden are complete, and the north entrance is once again open for public use.

The entrance was shut down in July for FLLT crews to make upgrades, including the installation of an ADA-accessible path, and trail extensions. The north entrance was originally scheduled to reopen in October.

The project was paid for with a $100,000 New York Conservation Partnership grant that FLLT won in May 2024.
