SUNY Cortland extends basketball win streak to 11 games

No sweet treats for Cornell men’s hockey on Valentine’s Day weekend. The Big Red tied RPI on Friday, 1-1, and lost Saturday at Union College, 4-1.

Back-to-back wins for the Cornell women’s hockey team. On Friday, the Big Red skated to a 4-3 win over St. Lawrence, followed with a victory on Valentine’s Day at Clarkson, 2-1.

The SUNY Cortland men’s basketball team now has 11 straight wins after an 86-63 rout at Canton on Friday and a 65-58 defeat Saturday at Oswego.

The women’s basketball squad at SUNY Cortland are also coming off a pair of weekend wins. On Friday, the Red Dragons beat Canton, 51-46, then took command in Oswego on Saturday, 66-43.

A losing streak is over for the girl’s basketball crew at TC3. After 11 straight losses, the Panthers beat Finger Lakes on Valentine’s Day, 81-63, then edged out SUNY Broome on Sunday, 58-52.
