SYRACUSE, NY (607NewsNow) — Glenn Gomez Adams, host of Gomez & Friends on TK99 out of Syracuse, has released his first book, You’re Caller Number 7, Please Try Again.

Having been involved in radio in Central New York for over 40 years, Adams has plenty of stories to tell and divulges behind the scenes details from prank calls to introducing Billy Joel at the Carrier Dome.

Adams started writing the book around the time the COVID-19 pandemic hit and started with writing down little stories and memories from his time in radio. Published on October 20th of this year, the here and there style of writing turned longer stories, some of which he was reminded of by his own listeners.

In the coming months, Gomez will have book signings at the Barnes & Noble in Clay on January 10th, 2026, one at Ralph’s Shoe Repair in Syracuse, one at a Syracuse Crunch Hockey Game, and more which can be found on Gomez Adam’s Facebook page here.

Listen to Gomez Adams talk with WHCU’s Joe Salzone in their full interview here:

You’re Caller Number 7, Please Try Again by Gomez Adams is available for purchase online on IngramSpark or Amazon.
